Growing up in Skelmersdale, a lower-class council town in northwest England, I learned early on that identity isn’t something given — it’s something built. My environment pushed me to create my own direction, to find meaning through making and immersion.
From working on industrial sites to fund my projects, to living in hostels while interning in London, I’ve always been drawn to environments that challenge the idea of comfort and belonging.
